£35,000 Per Annum
Driving and operating a HGV HIAB 18 – 26t,
Duties will include the removal and installation of Highways equipment and street furniture, including bus stops and small advertising panels. Works will be based from a depot near Reading, there will be an amount of travelling involved as works will be allocated throughout the UK, and occasional nights out for long distance.
The right candidate must have a clean HGV licence and necessary qualifications and training for highways works, to include HIAB operative, ALLMI, NPORs or CPCS, Street works, First aid and Manual handling, additional can be provided, depending on qualifications held.
Basic salary £35k with opportunity for overtime and bonus (note that that there is also a weekly attendance bonus of £150 working out at circa 7k per annum (4 weeks holiday per year)
Please note that we issue our HGV drivers Vans and fuel cards for travel to work
The role will require you to get out and dig and erect columns in all weathers, it is not just a driving job.
There is scope to progress and full industry training will be provided so no prior street lighting experience is required although preferable.
